Organization
MINDEF (HQ) Library comes under the jurisdiction of the Education Directorate, Personnel Services Division (PSD), Malaysian Armed Forces Headquarters. The MINDEF Library is the main library, responsible to the Director of Education, Malaysian Armed Forces, for the management of libraries at all Armed Forces training centres, formation and bases.

| Chief Librarian | Responsible for all matters pertaining to the MINDEF Library in his/her capacity as head of the library. |
| Administration | Responsible for planning, managing and coordinating all aspects of library administration. |
| Collection Development | Responsible for procuring all books and materials for MINDEF Library and its brances, and developing their future collection. |
| Documentation | Responsible for the documenting and cataloguing all library materials |
| Customer Services | Responsible for all matters pertaining to customer service at MINDEF Library such as loans, references and advice. |
| Automation | Responsible for implementing the library automation system and updating the MINDEF Library Website and Military Database. |
| User Awareness | Responsible for instilling user awareness on all current matters pertaining to library service. |
